1. How do I place an order?

Simply make your selection from the Menu page and submit your order via the Contact Us page, providing as much detail as possible, including the number of people; any special dietary requirements and the date for delivery. We will then contact you to confirm the details and price by phone and/or email.

2. Do you make home deliveries?
YES! Due to popular demand we are now able to deliver your favourite Sufi Spice dishes straight to your door (see Delivery page for more details). Collection is also available on all orders.

3. Which area do you cover?
We are a local enterprise and are primarily here to serve Otley and surrounding Wharfedale areas (see Delivery page for a map of the actual area we cover). However, we are flexible - if you live outside of our delivery area and are willing to collect your order, or are wishing to place a larger order and would like to discuss delivery then please do get in touch.

4. Where else can I find you?
You can also find us at a number of local Farmers' Markets offering freshly made curries to takeaway. See the Markets page for a complete calendar of where and when.

5. Is there a minimum order?
There is a minimum catering order to serve 4 people. This is a flexible menu service, so please contact us to discuss your particular requirements.

6. What if I want something that is not on the menu?
We can usually accomodate any request and welcome new menu ideas. Just get in touch.

7. How much notice do you require for an order?
That really depends on the order itself. For example, an order catering for 20 people with special dietary requirements will require more time in planning and sourcing than a more straightforward order for 4 people. As a rule of thumb, at least 48 hours notice - the more the better. The same applies to cancellations (costs incurred due to late cancellations may be charged).

8. How spicy is the food?
You can specify a preference for each dish when ordering. Generally, the main curry dishes are cooked 'medium hot' with a fine blend of spices to bring out the full flavour and aroma. However, on request dishes can be made milder or hotter to taste.

9. Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
We are more than happy to discuss any special dietary requirements including food allergies.

10. Are all of your ingredients organic?
Here at Sufi Spice we are committed to both our community and environment by supporting local producers. Indeed, we source locally reared organic lamb and free-range chicken as well as locally grown organic chillies, ginger and garlic amongst other things.

11. Do you provide cutlery and plates etc...?
Orders will be delivered in robust, recyclable containers. It is expected that customers will simply use their own cutlery and crockery to enjoy their freshly prepared Sufi Spice dishes on the day.

12. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cheques or cash on collection. We do not presently have debit/credit card facilities. Larger orders will require a 50% deposit in advance.

13. Are you qualified to prepare food for catering to the public?
Sufi Spice is formally accredited with an industry standard L2 qualification in Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering, as well as holding a 5-STAR Food Hygiene Rating with the District Council and Food Standards Agency.
